EECA’s 16 October update refreshed charger and co-funding datasets and regional EV statistics. The dashboard is useful for planning and context, while EECA directs drivers to EVRoam or PlugShare to locate chargers.
EECA says its Public EV Charger Dashboard was updated on October 16 with refreshed EVRoam and co-funded charger data, plus regional and district registration statistics. It is a national view of known infrastructure, not a live trip-navigation service.
EECA recommends EVRoam or PlugShare for finding chargers. Use its dashboard for broader coverage and EECA-funded sites, installed or planned. Forecast go-live dates are approximate and may move because of consenting or electricity-network work.
EECA distinguishes a charging unit (station) from its individual charging points. It says EVRoam does not record all points directly, so the calculated point total is an undercount. Neither number means the same thing as independent sites or plugs.
For a route or rural destination, check a current locator for sites, connectors and availability. Use EECA for regional context and planned investment, not as proof a forecast charger is operating or every public charger is represented.
