Our take

The G6 is XPENG's electric coupé-SUV, and fast charging is its strongest suit. It suits drivers who cover long distances and want short stops rather than long waits at a charger. Every version quotes a 12-minute 10–80% DC charge, and the RWD Standard Range starts at A$51,800 before on-road costs with 480 km WLTP. The trade-off is price: the Long Range and Performance versions cost noticeably more, so check whether the extra range is worth it for the way you actually drive.
