NHTSA’s 1 October 2026 filing for campaign 26V630 / VW 93EX says a defined group of U.S. ID.4s may be involved; 22,524 is a potentially involved population, not a failure count. The filing describes a conditional battery risk with certain charging patterns above 80% and interim advice for included vehicles to limit charging to 80% until repair. That filing said the remedy was still under development as of 1 October. Check your 17-character VIN with NHTSA or Volkswagen; if no result appears, follow up with Volkswagen and recheck because records can update. This is a U.S.-specific campaign, distinct from 26V030 / VW 93EA.
