Kai founded Cathay EV to answer one question British buyers could not get answered anywhere else: what does the Chinese market already know about this car? He reads 汽车之家 owner reviews, 车质网 complaint records and SAMR recall notices in Chinese, and checks UK prices, ranges and warranty terms against the manufacturer's own UK pages before anything is published.
He does not test-drive cars for this site and does not pretend to. Driving impressions on Cathay EV are always attributed to the UK outlet that recorded them.
