These are simulated PCP examples for UK buyers. They hold the car price, deposit, term and APR constant, then change only the optional final payment. They are not retailer quotes, an offer, or a forecast of resale value.
| Scenario | Deposit | Monthly instalment | Optional final payment | Total paid to own |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Load £16,500 final payment | £3,300.00 | £470.28 | £16,500.00 | £42,373.32 |
| Load £9,900 final payment | £3,300.00 | £582.90 | £9,900.00 | £41,179.38 |
Inputs: £33,000 car price, £3,300 deposit, 48 months and 9.9% APR. The estimate uses APR divided by 12, month-end payments and unrounded instalments; extra fees are excluded. Total paid to own is deposit + all instalments + final payment. A lender’s schedule can differ. If returning the car, check mileage, condition and return charges.
For a real comparison, copy each written quote’s vehicle price, cash deposit, monthly payments, term, APR, optional final payment, fees and mileage allowance. Keep lease rentals separate from PCP.
